Payment methods

The payment of the goods for private individuals (end-users) is effected either by direct debit, advance payment, PayPal moneybookers, cash on delivery or financing.For commercial companies and public institutions, payment on account is possible. Please contact us by phone.We always reserve our right to exclude certain payment methods in individual cases, and certain payment methods can be negociated individually with the customer.

- Advance payment (worldwide)

In the case of advance payment, the goods are shipped immediately after we have received the payment. This payment method is a duty for customers from foreign countries. By the way, since July 1^st, 2003, banks are not allowed to charge fees for international payments within the EU. So your order is free of any additional costs in the payment. This does not apply for non-EU countries, e.g. Switzerland! We would like to point out that we do not bear the charges in the case of payment from non-EU countries, the fees must always be borne by the customer, please take this into consideration when you transfer the money. In order to avoid the fees, we offer the possibility of transfer to our Swiss account.

- Advance payment Switzerland (Switzerland)

Especially for our customers living in Switzerland, we have installed this account, so that you can avoid the high bank fees. In the case of advance payment, the goods are shipped immediately after we have received the payment.

- Immediate transfer (currently only for Germany)

"Immediate transfer" is a new, innovative payment method with TÜV certificate and TÜV-tested transaction security. Immediate transfer has been developed by the Payment Network AG and has already been applied in many online shops in Germany.

Via the secure payment form of the Payment Network AG, which is not accessible for traders, Immediate transfer effects automatically and in real-time a transfer from your online bank account. The amount of the purchase will be transferred immediately and directly to the trader’s bank account.

As an end-customer, you need NOT register with Immediate transfer to be able to use Immediate transfer as a payment method.

If you transfer via Immediate transfer, you need the data of your online banking account, i.e. account number, bank code, PIN and TAN.

Then you have to carry out the following simple steps:

1^st: Enter your online banking bank code.
2^nd: Enter the account holder’s name and the account number (online banking account).

3^rd: Depending on the bank: Enter the customer reference or legimitation (ID) and PIN.
4^th: Confirm the order by entering the TAN.

- PayPal (geld@zoobuy.net) (worldwide)

In principle, PayPal is also a version of "advance payment". This system by the company ebay requires an additional registration. This means that with PayPal payments can only be effected, if the buyer and the seller have a PayPal account. This process is quick and easy. If you choose the payment method “PayPal”, and then click on "confirm the order", you get to the PayPal logo. Here, you are taken automatically to the page of payment and are asked to pay the sum of the purchase. For that, you have to log into your account with your personal password. After that, the message announcing the completed payment and the notice that within about 10 seconds you will be returned automatically to the shop will appear.

PayPal offers a protection for buyers!

- Moneybookers (geld@zoobuy.net) (worldwide)

Works like Paypal and is also a kind of advance payment. This payment method does not have an interface with our systems. Nevertheless, you can use moneybookers for payment by simply choosing “advance payment” and then transferring the amount by Moneybookers.

Moneybookers is a leading international online payment system with electronic money license. It is authorized according to British and European law and administered by the UK Finance Authority (FSA).

- Debit entry (Germany)

If the customer chooses the payment method debit entry, the debit entry for the first order will be carried out before the shipment of the goods. If the debit entry is unproblematic, the product will be sent immediately after the checking by the banks. The latter should not take more than 3 to 5 working days. For subsequent orders or at the award of a fixed customer number, the debit entry is only effected after the goods have been shipped. Only customers with a German account can use debit entry.

Please note that for legal reasons, the customer’s name must correspond to the data of the account you have given. If the data of the holder of the bank account do not correspond to the names given in the order, we reserve our right to change the payment method. If payment is effected by debit entry, the debit entry is carried out after the goods have been shipped. If you order for the first time, the debit entry is carried out before the goods are shipped.

Debit entry is only possible from accounts at German banks.

If the banks charge fees, we reserve our right to charge them to the customer. This applies in particular to return debit notes which have not been authorized by us. For each return debit note we have not authorized, we charge a processing fee of at least EUR 15.00. This does not apply if you withdraw your order. Orders via online shop entitle us to one single debit, if the customer has given us his bank data.

- Payment on delivery (Germany)

In the case of payment on delivery, we charge a fee of EUR 8.00, regardless of the order value. This payment method is not possible for the delivery of plants and frozen food.

- Credit card (worldwide)

Currently, we offer Visa and MasterCard. American Express is in preparation. The data entered will be directly forwarded to our Payment service providers and charged to your credit card account, when the order is completed. We do not have the possibility to use these data e.g. for a subsequent order by telephone.

- Financing (Germany)

In the case of financing via Santander Consumer Bank, after the purchase you will be connected directly to the bank’s sites with the data from the shopping basket by clicking on the logo of Santander Consumer Bank. Then, the following steps are necessary:

1^st: Calculate your personal credit request with the appropriate duration.
2^nd: Please enter now your personal data.
3^rd: If the Santander Consumer Bank can grant your credit wish, you will immediately receive the documents by mail.

4^th: Please send the signed credit agreement with the documents requested in the letter to the Santander Consumer Bank.
5^th: When your documents have arrived and have been checked, the products will be sent to you.

Please take into account that the minimum value of the basket is EUR 100.

- Cash / Cheque

Cash or cheques are not accepted as payment methods.
