Shipment

Conditions of shipment:
Shipment is an important element of online shopping. This is why we cooperate with reliable partners. We send our merchandise as insured parcels. If your parcel reaches you in a damaged condition, please do not accept it, but send it back directly to us. If you have accepted it and its contents are damaged, please notify us immediately at this number: 0049-561-494576.

Delivery time:
We deliver as soon as possible. After receiving your payment we send you the merchandise immediately. Please take into consideration that we, too, depend on our pre-suppliers and that we, too, have to wait for the articles we order. If, in individual cases, we cannot deliver immediately, you will be notified at once and you will be told the date of delivery, if we can determine it.

Tracking of the shipment:
The status of your order can be tracked at Track & Trace. You will find the link in the box Information. For this you need the number of the parcel, which we will tell you when we inform you that your order has been shipped. You will only have to insert it, and you will get the current status of the shipment.

Shipment charges in Germany:
If the address we have to deliver to is in Germany, the lump sum for the shipping charges including insurance and packing is 2.95€ for each parcel up to 40kg. Part deliveries are regarded as one parcel.

The supplementary charge for payment on delivery is 8.00€. We offer this service only within Germany.  

These all-inclusive shipment charges are not valid with heavy or bulky freight and on the German islands. Here supplementary charges can be asked for.

Heavy or bulky freight and other supplementary charges
There are special arrangements for heavy articles (e.g. aquariums). The supplementary charges are not determined online. In any case we will find out the means of shipment most favourable for you.

In case of differences, you will receive a separate confirmation of your order or cost planning. Then you will still have the possibility of withdrawing your order. Thus you will be informed about the actual transport charges via email before the conclusion of the contract.

Zone 2
Andorra, Austria, Azores, Belgium, Britain, Corsica, Czech Republic, Denmark, Färöe (DK), Finland, France, Greece, Greenland, Guernsey, Ireland, Italy, Jersey, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, Madeira, Monaco, Netherlands (Holland), Northern Ireland, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Slovakia, Spain (inclusive of the Baleares), Sweden, Switzerland, Vatican.      
Zone 3
Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belorussia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canary Islands, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Georgia, Gibraltar, Hungary, Iceland, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Norway, Romania, Russian Federation, Slovenia, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, Yugoslavia.
Zone 4
Algeria, Bahrain, Canada, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, St-Pierre-and-Miquelon, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, USA,  Yemen.
Zone 5 - Rest of the world
All the countries not listed in the other zones belong here. So, if you do not find your country in the other zones, it belongs to this one.

Important comments on shipping charges for foreign countries:

Shipping charges consisting of the pure weight of the merchandise and the weight of the package are calculated automatically by the shop system. The material of the package is always a flat charge of 1 kg per order and is already considered in the total of weight displayed for the client.
The exact, transparent calculation of the total of shipping charges of an order is realized in time during the ordering process, while you pass through the steps “Shipping information” and “Send order”. Thus you will receive in any case an indication of the total weight before ordering definitely.
According to the shipment table at the category “Shipping and delivery charges” you can get information about the charges for your country in advance. Also during the ordering process you have the possibility to enter this category and check your costs, either through a permanent link placed beneath the price of the chosen product or by clicking directly on our info box, “Shipping and delivery charges”.
Thus you will receive a transparent overview of the shipping charges of your order. The table is devided into shipment zones and weights.

Customs and orders from foreign countries
We send part of our merchandise worldwide. In countries not belonging to the EU, the customs regulations of the respective country are applied. Please note: Our bills for orders from countries not belonging to the EU, e.g. Switzerland, are without VAT. However, according to the customs regulations of the country, the addressee must pay customs duty or import sales tax when receiving the parcel. If you need more detailed information about the taxes, we advise you to get into contact with your local customs office or the post customs office in Basle at 061-201 2222.

We also deliver to Helgoland without VAT.
